1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Ask4Date (askfordate.app), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Black Keno S.R.L., a company registered in Romania.
2. The Service
Ask4Date is a web-based platform that allows registered users ("Creators") to create personalized date proposal pages and share them via a unique link with recipients ("Recipients"). The platform uses AI to generate proposal content and collects the Recipient's response and preferences on behalf of the Creator.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for such changes.
3. Accounts
Registration
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date.
Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@askfordate.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
One account per person
Each person may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free-plan limits is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.

Payments
All payments are processed by Stripe. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's Consumer Terms. Prices are in USD and include applicable taxes.
Refund policy
Single plan ($3 — 1 credit): A full refund of $3 is available if the credit has not been used to generate a proposal. The request must be submitted within 14 days of purchase. Once the credit has been used, no refund is issued, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU — by requesting immediate performance you waive your right of withdrawal for that credit.
Pack plan ($10 — 5 credits): Refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis of $2 per unused credit. If you have used 2 out of 5 credits, you are eligible for a refund of $6 (3 unused × $2). The request must be submitted within 14 days of purchase. Credits already used to generate proposals are non-refundable.
Monthly subscription ($21/month): You may cancel at any time from your Account Settings. The subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing cycle.
EU consumers: You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of purchase under EU Directive 2011/83/EU. By using credits immediately, you acknowledge that performance has begun and you waive your right of withdrawal for those specific credits. Unused credits remain eligible for refund within the 14-day window.
Platform error refunds
If a verified platform error caused a credit to be deducted without successfully generating a proposal (e.g., a server failure, payment processing error, or AI generation failure that consumed a credit without producing a result), you are entitled to either:
- Full restoration of the deducted credit to your account, or
- A monetary refund equal to the per-credit value of the affected plan
This right applies regardless of the 14-day withdrawal window, as it constitutes a failure to deliver the contracted service. To qualify, you must provide:
- A screenshot or description of the error encountered
- The approximate date and time of the failed attempt
- The email address associated with your account
We will verify the incident against our server logs and respond within 3 business days. If the error is confirmed, the remedy (credit restoration or refund) will be applied within 5 business days.
How to request a refund
Submit your request via the Support form (select the Refund category) or by emailing refund@askfordate.app with the subject line "Refund Request". Please include your account email, the plan purchased, the date of purchase, and the reason for the request. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method via Stripe.
Subscription cancellation
You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time from your Account Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
5. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use Ask4Date to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate any person
- Create proposals containing sexual content involving minors
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Spam, send unsolicited communications, or send proposals to strangers without any prior relationship
- Circumvent free-plan limits by creating multiple accounts
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform
- Use the platform for commercial solicitation unrelated to date proposals
- Transmit malware, viruses, or any malicious code
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
Violation may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.
6. Content & Intellectual Property
Your content
You retain ownership of the names, messages, and other content you input into Ask4Date. By using the platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store this content solely to provide the service.
Platform content
All platform code, design, trademarks, logos, and non-user content are the exclusive property of [Company Name] SRL. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
AI-generated content
Proposal text generated by Claude (Anthropic) is produced on your behalf and belongs to you, subject to Anthropic's usage policies. See Section 7.
7. AI-Generated Content
Proposal text is generated using Anthropic's Claude API. While we prompt the AI for quality and appropriateness, we cannot guarantee that AI-generated content will always be accurate, appropriate, or error-free.
You are responsible for reviewing the generated content before sharing it. We are not liable for any consequences arising from AI-generated proposals, including but not limited to factual errors, tone mismatches, or unintended interpretations.
If Claude's API is unavailable, the platform uses pre-written fallback text. Credits are still consumed in this case, as the service (proposal creation) was provided.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for the actions, decisions, or responses of Recipients to your proposals.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Romanian and EU law, [Company Name] SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Romanian or EU consumer protection law.
10. Termination
By you
You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
By us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We will provide notice where reasonably possible unless prohibited by law or where doing so would cause harm.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law principles. For consumers located in the EU, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence also apply.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Romania. EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
